I think I was expecting a bit more
from Damnation AD. I mean it has been more than 8 years since their last
release and it doesn't seem their style changed much. It is gutter
core with a gritty sound on the crunching guitars and bass. There is a sense
of the hardcore punk scene throughout the music with a ferociousness within
the musical assault. The problem comes with many of the tracks sounding the
same with a garage recording overtone. Overall it is decent but not really
my style or taste. The lyrics are very dark in nature and have the
band singing/yelling as they look for death as their only sense of peace.
